UFW port forward for wireguard

So I came here because of post at https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-to-configure-ufw-to-forward-port-80443-to-internal-server-hosted-on-lan/

I have linod VM running which has public IP. I am running wireguard server and using home VM as my client. They are connected. Now how do I port forward which comes from my main IP to internal home VM

Trying to see if I can run mail server like that.

Linode VM Public IP:25 to HOMEVM: 25 and all other ports which I may need

Commands are same. But, you may need to open ports on your home router too. Apart from that allow or selected traffic forwarding between wg0 interface is required too.

but if it connected to server through VPN, I still need to port forward?
