Intrigued with the idea…, well, maybe…
Contrary to the “blogs”, the above exist in ports section of FreeBSD, which is apparently the development community behind Monero’s CPU driven crypto.
I’ve been considering firing up a mining box in my spare time just to see what all the excitement is about. Has anyone got any experience with either of these packages? Feedback appreciated… to include - don’t waste time, money and bandwidth, if warranted.
I read the mining clown forums and it appears they know next to nothing about computers, Linux, etc… leading me to believe, perhaps, there’s an opportunity with the flip side of - uh oh, the sheep may soon get sheered…
