I have hardware firewall. I do not need firewalld. How do I stop and disable Firewalld on CentOS 7? What I need is - how to I stop internal default CentOS 7 Linux firewall using ssh command option?

  1. To disable firewall on a CentOS Linux 7, run:
    sudo systemctl stop firewalld
  2. Next disable loading firewalld service at boot time, execute:
    sudo systemctl disable firewalld
  3. Finally, make sure no other service start the firewall, run:
    sudo systemctl mask --now firewalld

Please note that disabling firewall means all of your protection will be gone. So only disable if you know what you are doing. Otherwise I suggest keep running internal firewalld.
