How to find Debian minor version

I need to see Debian Linux minor version. Is it 10.8 or 10.9? I try How To Find Out My Linux Distribution Name and Version but still no luck:

lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:	Debian
Description:	Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
Release:	10
Codename:	buster

Then to check Debian minor version I try method two

cat /etc/os-release 
PRETTY_NAME="Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)"
NAME="Debian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="10"
VERSION="10 (buster)"
VERSION_CODENAME=buster
ID=debian
HOME_URL="https://www.debian.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="https://www.debian.org/support"
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.debian.org/"

Did they removed minor version information from the file?

I also did run the command:

hostnamectl 
   Static hostname: debian-smpt-mail-out

           Chassis: vm

           Boot ID: 0e49766287324040979955dc6a9d8a6838

Is this because I am using AWS cloud?

We can use the /etc/debian_version file to get minor version.

How to check Debian Linux minor version

Print version on the standard output:

cat /etc/debian_version

Also:

minor_version=$(</etc/debian_version)
echo "$minor_version"

oh, I did not realised there is another file for minor version. Now, I know. I wish they update the /etc/os-release file.
